I have gotten the wristlets and zip purses for the military done, now I have to get the product descriptions done so that I can list them.
We will be introducing custom lanyards and I am hoping to find a way to put one or two initials on the smaller fobs by next year as well. I have a prototype of the lanyard done, now we have to rearrange the placement of the embroidery so that it lays even on the lanyard.
I also am in the process of seeing about getting trademark licenses for the Military designs that I hope to be able to put on some of the Military items that I sell. From what I have read so far I need permission to have the patch designs on the front of the wristlets. The Marine one will be the easiest to submit, they have the option of listing my business as a hobby but the other ones want it listed as a small business, so I have to do the dreaded business plan set up. I hate trying to think of what to write then write it down in a nice conformed manner that looks professional and business like :) Free form is definitely more my style, but I will do it if it means I can make more sales to be able to help the USO and Air Force Aid society help our military seeing as our lovely government seems bent on taking everything away from them after some of them have given their all for us !
I promise the next time I sit down and write for the blog I will have numbers so that we can see how we are doing headed into the Holidays :)
Til next time :)
